Country Life

In creating this artwork, I was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be invited onto the property that day. The owner was remarkably kind in showing us around the cattle yard and even allowed me to attach a GoPro to his chest to film him working with the cattle.

As our visit ended and he returned the GoPro attachment, he took off his hat to get it over his head. Photographer Chris Sweetapple captured this photo I used as reference at that moment, as the man was putting his hat back on and preparing to return to work.
