He turned, instinctively raising his Colt .45, only to find himself staring down the barrel of another gun.

Across from him, a woman sat confidently atop a sleek brown horse, her dark hair cascading over her shoulders. Her eyes sparkled with determination, and her own revolver was aimed steadily at Jake.

"Easy there, cowboy," she said, a smirk playing on her lips.
