From Arizona to Utah: Cowboys, Cattle, and Creative Inspiration
Share
I recently had the chance to spend a few unforgettable days at a ranch in Arizona, and for those who know me well, you’ll understand what an eye-opener this was! My adventure started off with a bang—within the first 20 minutes of arriving, I found myself saddled up and riding out with the cowboys to help round up cattle. Talk about jumping straight into the action!
The experience was nothing short of exhilarating. Watching the cowboys at work, capturing their grit and determination through my lens, gave me a whole new appreciation for ranch life and the people who live it every day.
But the adventure didn’t stop there. We were invited to travel up to Utah with the family who owns the ranch—a truly remarkable group. Imagine a family with six daughters, each one more badass than the last! They welcomed us with open arms and invited us to attend church with them. The service was at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a cornerstone of the Mormon faith. Spending time in their hometown and experiencing their community firsthand was both inspiring and humbling.
This journey has left a lasting impression on me, and I’m channeling all that energy and inspiration into my new art. Most of the pieces I’m working on now are directly inspired by the time I spent with this incredible family and their way of life. I can’t wait to share this new collection with you all—stay tuned!
Thanks for following along on my journey from Arizona to Utah. Sometimes the best stories (and the best art!) come from stepping way outside of your comfort zone
